In the current economic climate, most restaurants would be happy with neutral sales growth, but that really was not on the cards for the Buford store owner Andy Deas. He wanted to bring his small store at 2033 Buford Highway in the Oakbrook Plaza to the very pinnacle of excellence. He wanted his store to grow quicker than any other in the Caesars chain. The task began almost three years ago and he was finally recognized last week as the Little Caesars “Outstanding Marketer” of the year, and his store on Buford Highway was named as one of the top ten stores in the world in terms of sales growth for 2009.

“I really can’t believe we managed to achieve such great success by being recognized as one of the best in the world out of thousands of locations, right here in Buford! It is incredible what these stores can do with the right crew, quality products at the right price and, of course, a strong marketing campaign” said Deas. “The guys at the store really deserve the top ten ranking because they work day-in day-out to produce a quality pizza at an incredible price. The $5 price point on a large, one-topping pizza has been an incredible hit here in Buford. Although Little Caesar stores are essentially similar, we have our own methods of interacting with our customers. We are not a faceless business. We are all here all the time and the store has definitely become part of our extended family.
